Who can join? Anybody. You don't have to have a Livejournal or belong to a particular list to participate. You just have to want to write somebody a Spike/Xander slash fic and get one in return. How long does it have to be? Minimum length is 1000 words, please. You can make it as long as you want, providing it's finished by the due date. When is it due again? Before midnight PST on May 8, 2004. (0800 GMT on May 9.) What if I'm finished early? Please don't post your fic early. You can, however, mail it to me as soon as you feel it's ready. It'll be that much easier to get all the fics ready for posting, and I'd be terribly grateful. What if I'm not going to finish my fic in time? I sincerely hope nobody drops out, but if you have to, please let me know as soon as possible. That way, I can arrange to have a fic written for your recipient by someone else. If you do drop out, the story you requested will still be written, but it will be posted on the site without your name attached. I have no desire to humiliate anybody who can't finish; sometimes things happen and life takes over and you just can't get it done. But barring serious illness or injury keeping you from finishing, I don't think it's fair if you get a story written for you when you didn't hold up your end of the bargain for somebody else. Can I post my story to my website/Livejournal/favorite slash list when it's finished? If you have a Livejournal, please post your story the day it's due. Everywhere else, please wait until May 4th at least. Obviously I can't hold you to this, but it'd be nice if your recipient got a chance to see your fic before the rest of Buffy fandom, don't you think?
